Bare Panel Raised Floor System
Bare panel raised floor refers to a type of raised access flooring system that consists of panels without any additional surface finishes or coverings. These panels are typically made from materials such as steel or concrete and are designed to provide a sturdy, flat surface for various applications, particularly in commercial and industrial settings.
Title | Property |
|---|---|
Panel dimension | 600 x 600 mm |
Thickness | 33 mm |
Top | ST14 Stell Shell |
Core | Light Cement |
Structure of the Panel
HPL Raised floor is a composite rasied movable floor with full metal and aluminum honeycomb structure inside. Filled with light cement and the margins are fixed with black conductive edge strip.

1. Structure
The Panel typically consists of a steel top steel top sheet welded to a formed steel bottom sheet, filled with a lightweight cement mixture. This creates a strong, durable, and lightweight contruction.
2. Surface Material:
The top of the panel is covered with High Pressure Laminate(HPL), which is the most common surface covering used on access floors. HPL is a floor-grade lamincate that provides serveral benefits:
-
Static dissipation
-
Easy to clean and maintain
-
Durable walking surface
-
Anti-static properties
Key Features of HPL Panel Raised Floors:
Load Capacity:
HPL Raised floor panels are designed to handle various load requirement, typically ranging from 800 to 1500 lbs concentrated load.
Applications:
These panels are commonly used in commercial and industrial settings where underfloor access is required, such as offices, data centers, and other facilties that need flexible cable management and airflow systems.
5. Additional Features:
-
Fire - resistant and non - combustible
-
Waterproof
-
Corrosion - resistant
-
Long service life

Purpose and utility.

-
Supporting Data Center Equipment:
Data centers house heavy and sensitive equipment such as servers, routers, and switches. Raised floor panels provide a sturdy platform for this equipment, allowing easy access for maintenance, upgrades, and efficient cable management.
-
Enhancing Airflow and Cooling Efficiency:
Maintaining optimal temperatures in data centers is crucial to prevent equipment overheating. Raised floors enable underfloor air distribution, delivering cool air precisely where needed. This system works alongside HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, ensuring consistent and energy-efficient cooling, which directly impacts server rack performance and equipment longevity.
